LOL > what a turnaround. Disk based Storage is the current longest lived format with regular re-generation of the data. Hey I know one guy who has his data in his own cloud with servers at his office and at a cooperating organization in another city ( He keeps a copy of the other outfits data in case they loose theirs) BUT Still Kodachrome is a format that will keep with minimal effort and will be ready for you when HDTV seems low res, or no body bothers to support the Video format you scaned stuff in.
