Hi folks,

For those fed up with the walled gardens and proprietary software around
data, we are kicking off the PostgreSQL Edinburgh meetup!
We're building a space for the open source data(base) community to gather,
share war stories, and eat pizza! 🍕

Thurs, Dec 11th @ 6:00 PM at the Old College, University of Edinburgh.

The talks are:
- Chris Ellis (Nexteam): PostgreSQL Tips & Tricks – A look at offloading
complexity from your application code (scheduling, search, geolocation)
into the DB.
- Jimmy Angelakos (pgEdge): RAGtime with Postgres – I’ll be discussing how
to use pgvector to implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

It’s free and all levels are welcome. The meetup is bound by the PostgreSQL
Code of Conduct.

P.S. Volunteer help (greeting attendees, logistics, etc.) would be greatly
appreciated for this and future meetups! Please email me if you can help!

Best,
Jimmy
