To buy or to wait - on n900 and MeeGo

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone here in slugnet owns a Nokia n900? What are your thoughts? I saw a unit being sold from Mobile Square at Far East Plaza for SGD 850 with no warranty as it is an Export Set. After all the Moblin + Maemo merger excitement, I was wondering if I should just wait for the next upcoming smartphones running MeeGo, which could be another 2 to 3 month wait. Since Qt has been ported to the n900, and I have read some blogs claiming that the n900 will have the capability to be upgraded to MeeGo, why not just buy it. So what do you guys think?
