Laptops nowadays have 300GB+ disks, HDMI, WLAN, DVDROM or BDROM drives etc. You could extend the diskspace by either networking (samba? ) or additional USB drives. A combined wireless KB+Mouse enables your TV to function as a youtube device too A laptop can be hidden easily in a TV cabinet. There are two problems I need to solve: Linux compatible USB-TV adapter, LIRC integration Any suggestions for Linux compatible USB-TV adapters?
