I use their cheapest mobile broadband service for almost half a decade
now, but not their router. I once went to M1 to get the router, on the
premise that:

"For subscribers who already have the VMCC, rental of the 3G Broadband
Router is free."

But they flat-out told me there was no such offer. I didn't have
access to a laptop to show them their own site and claim, and didn't
bother to direct them to their own stations to do so. I thought I'd
print out the relevant part and bring it to them next time.

Other than that, at home I have a fixed StarHub cable line, so nope I
didn't get rid of it. But for the meantime I'm living alone and it
does suffice, and am currently overseas but other SIMs do _not_ work
with it. I have been travelling a lot lately and I have to say our
little M1's plans are just the best in the continent and Australia
(price:peformance).

The only complaint I have is the inherent high latency of GSM
networks; every SSH session is a PITA but I've gotten used to it.
