Don't really understand what you are trying to do but let me give it a shot:
a) Virtualization - if you are running Fedora, you have virtualization already
included.  Check Applications->System Tools->Virtual Machine Manager.[0]
b) Globus - an open source software toolkit used for building grids.[1]
