[JOBS] Junior Positions for Linux kernel and systems developer

Hi Everyone

Thanks for the response to our earlier posting. We have identified the senior positions and we have TWO more junior positions open. Please see revised JOB specifications below.

1degreenorth Pte Ltd (http://www.1degreenorth.com) is looking to hire several passionate developers experienced with Linux kernel and systems development.

The Founding team of 1degreenorth are the early pioneers of Linux and HPC clusters in Singapore and Asia Pacific. We were the co-developers of SDSC's Rocks cluster toolkit from 2002-2006; and developers of Project Kusu from 2006-2010. Project Kusu is the foundation of many HPC management systems OEM'ed/resold by DELL, INTEL, HP, Cray and Red Hat today.

We are embarking on the development of the next-generation of HPC and Cloud infrastructure and we are inviting like-minded, never-say-die, we-can-change-the-world attitude people to join our team.


* Required knowledge, skills and experience *

- Proficient in programming in assembly and C/C++
- Experience in developing Linux device drivers.
- Experience with Linux Kernel programming
- Knowledge of higher level network protocols including TCP/IP.
- Excellent communication skills and good teamwork are needed.
- Must be highly motivated.
- B. Sc/Eng or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering plus 2-3 years of related experience.

* Bonus *
- Knowledge of virtualization/container technologies
- Understanding of processor architectures
