THE SHITHOLEVILLE MYTHOS: Ode to My Slurp-puppet "Ode to My Slurp-puppet" is an epic, humorous poem that was co-written by the members of A.A.P.C. (although Michael Pendragon and NancyGene were the primary authors) in reaction to an annoyingly repetitive post by Will Donkey. Will Donkey made a practice of bumping his old posts to the top of the feed by re-thanking anyone who'd commented on them in the past. General Zod (Stinky George) would aid and abet him in this practice by dropping one word comments after each of Will Donkey's posts -- to which the Donkey would invariably reply "Thanks for the nod, General Zod." Out of a collective sense of frustration, the A.A.P.C. members took to composing a new stanza to "Ode to My Slurp-puppet" each time that the Donkey thanked General Zod for the nod. The resultant poem ran for 1,000s of lines, far surpassing "Penny's Hat" in terms of length. It can still be read online, although it was too long for a single post and had to be submitted in parts.
