No, Brian Mallard is a deacon in the Baptist church.

As Brian Mallard put it:

"Deacon is a supportive position to the pastor.

Deacons aren't ministers or pastors in the church, we serve the needs of the pastor so he can concentrate of sermons.

In the Christian faith, all believers are preachers, but in the church organization, deacons are servants to the church."

So, to set the record straight, Brian Mallard is a deacon, not a minister.
