Finding new books to read

I've just come across a new web site (well, new to me, anyway) that
helps you to find new books to read.

If you're an author, you can add your own books, and say what other
books they are like, 

GoodReads has a rather clunky version of it, which produces a list of
"People who liked this book also liked..." -- but to get on to that
list you have to have at least 10 ratings/reviews, and all my books
only have about 8-9. 

You can find my books on the new site -- here is my novel "Cross

For comparison, I put "Elidor" by Alan Garner, and "The Silver Chair"
by C.S. Lewis. I thought people who liked those books might like my
story too, and people who hated those probably wouldn't like my story.


So if you liked, say, "The Silver Chair", you can ask "What are books
like 'The Silver Chair'?" and it will give you a list, which you can
either read or avoid, depending on whether you loved or hated "The
SDilver Chair". 

It seems to work pretty well, and much better than the somewhat clunky
version on GoodReads. 

I've been thinking of adding my book "The Year of the Dragon" (ISBN:
9780463733158) to it. 

If you've read it, what books do you think it could be compared to?
I've been thinking of "War in Heaven" by Charles Williams and "King
Solomon's Mines" by H. Rider Haggard -- the first because it deals
with an ancient artifact that has lots of legends attached to it, and
the latter because in involves journeys around some of the remoter
bits of southern Africa chasing legends and legendary objects.
