Look who's jumping on the Trump bandwagon and taking advantage of the situation. Left-wing run companies are jacking prices for computer and video camera equipment by 25-30% while blaming the cost increases on tariffs not even in effect yet. A small company was quoted $3,800 for a new security camera system. A week after the quote, they received a revision increasing the cost by $1,100 to $4,900 citing tariff costs as the reason for the boost. Another company interested in upgrading their organization's computer equipment was quoted $110,000 for the equipment and deployment services. The company received a letter from the vendor cancelling the quote and advising that due to tariffs now in effect, the original bid had increased to $145,000. To anyone who can read, these were both predatory actions by the sellers because the proposed tariffs were suspended for 90 days and not even in effect. On the other side of that coin, Trump created the opportunities to shake loose some of the cash businesses were holding on to from the Biden disaster.
