Just this April, Lotus became the all-time Grand Prix winner with fifty victories, surpassing Ferrari's golden history.

No big surprise - it was the fifth world title for Lotus in the past ten years - but it sets a new record in the annals of Grand Prix racing.

It has mid-engine design like that of our Grand Prix cars, an unbelievable power weight ratio, and the option of either a four or five-speed gearbox.

According to results released by the Environmental Protection Agency, the Lotus Europa Special averaged 25.2 miles per gallon, making it the most economical sports car available in this country.

Nor have we neglected styling or comfort.
