For your brother's Android on Verizon: Yes, there are separate voicemail options. The Visual Voicemail app has its own icon (red circle with white glasses) that should be on the home screen or in the app drawer. If not, download Verizon's Visual Voicemail app from the Play Store.

You're right about the 20 message limit filling up fast. To clear space: Open the Visual Voicemail app, select multiple messages, and delete. Much easier than *86.

For the password: Try the last 4 digits of his phone number first. If that doesn't work, call *86, press 4 for admin options, and reset it.

The key is getting him to regularly delete messages in the Visual Voicemail app - show him how simple it is to swipe or multi-select to delete.
