She was recreating a series of photographs of young girls taken by "Alice in Wonderland" author Lewis Carroll, and using Olympia as the model. The series of photographs can be found here... http://moicani.over-blog.com/article-polixeni-papapetrou-ou-a-la-maniere-de= -lewis-carroll-53075053.html Naturally, controversy arose over the depiction of Olympia as Carroll's "Beatrice Hatch before White Cliffs." Here was a modern photograph of a nude six-year-old girl. How shocking!!!! Never mind the fact that you can't really see anything in the picture anyway (and even if you could, I say, so what?). It was put on the cover of Art Monthy Australia. There is a video of a news report of the issue on YouTube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DNjVRxlak0lI ) made when Olympia was eleven years old, and surely old enough to understand the issue. She is clearly very proud of her mother, and the image of her nude younger self! What's the problem here?
