I worked in a tech company in the early 1990s in California, and we had a coffee vending machine that I'm trying to identify. It was a large rectangular box, if memory serves I don't think it was floor-standing. It would have been 3-4 feet tall. You'd press buttons to select a coffee blend, and lights would illuminate the interior. Through ports on the front you'd see a conveyor of filter paper - I'm pretty sure it used a puck of coffee pressed against the paper, forced water through the coffee and paper into a cup, then advanced the paper to a clean space. The cup would travel down a chute like a typical vending machine. Does anyone have name of the manufacturer of these, or a source for pictures? --- Synchronet 3.20a-Win32 NewsLink 1.114 * realitycheckBBS - Aptos, CA - telnet://realitycheckbbs.org
