You keep up with the obfuscation. It's all you have got.

The 'swastika' was the national flag of Germany from 1935 till after the
war.

Well the reason I know about schoolchildren in America pledging
allegiance to the flag was from one geography lesson I had in Junior
school. I would guess I was about 8. A quick Google and I recognize the
text. Amazing. A bit of one lesson.

You on the other hand I'm led to believe had to perform this ritual
every school-day between the ages of lets say 6-14 and you conveniently
remember nothing. Your vagueness speaks volumes. Every day, it skipped
my mind gv'nr. I could be wrong. There's loads of US citizens here so
they can put me right.

To put this is some context people grew up a lot faster back then. For
instance in the UK the school leaving age was 14. My Mum was working in
an office in the city at that age traveling up everyday during the
Blitz. Sleeping some nights in the subways sonny. My Gran entered
service at 12. So I don't buy the I was only a child balderdash because
childhood was much shorter then.

I find it hard to believe that this ritual clearly designed to install
the notion of nationhood in young minds was never explained to you by
your teachers. Was that so. They never discussed the text and its
meaning. Sorry, I just don't believe it.

btw nationality is conferred through citizenship not race or ethnic
origin. You're a US Citizen. I'm a UK Citizen. That last sentence is a
test btw. Careful now. I miss nothing.
