I wonder what didn't "load right" and what "junk" you saw. 7-Zip presents you with a few obvious setup choices the first time you run it, then never again unless you manually call them up. Forever after you get a typical, unglamorous file manager-type window. It made immediate sense to me. Peazip seemed to offer me nothing over 7-Zip and seemed to obscure some of the things I most often do. Maybe it's improved, or if I had stuck with it I might have gotten more comfortable with it, but I could see no advantage for me.
