Just tried the links again and they worked. However, an email I sent
them bounced. It said:

I was, however, eventually easily able to prevent the program from
starting with Windows. I found the setting by using Emisoft Hijackfree.

So that I don't see them, I filter out crossposts (messages sent to
multiple newsgroups at a time) and from various trolls. If you do the
same, the group will be easier for you to read.
