John, for some reason I can't explain, I couldn't download HijackFree 
from MajorGeeks. I always ended in a 404 error page. I did get a copy 
of it from UpToDown website. The a-squared-hijackfree-4.5.exe 
installer package has a SHA2_256 hash 
74117b04abb435f08fd21a3c8813ef5b937264e720615d7bf91f4d1efb01f454. Can 
you confirm that? TIA.

I've used HijackFree a lot in the past since the very first version. 
It has been changing hands at least twice. I didn't know it is now on 
Emsisoft hands. BTW I scan my laptop regularly with their free 
Emergency Kit Scanner.
