I found a PGP tool that I can use for Win 7 - since I'm using 7 a bit
more now. It's this one.
PGP Tool For Windows
https://download.cnet.com/pgp-tool/3000-2092_4-77478036.html?ex=RAMP-2070.2
It took me quite a while to finally find one that wasn't a creation
from hell that filled my screen with tons and tons of choices, at
least three quarters of which I didn't understand.
Now - let me state this firstly, I have used Imad R. Faiad's 6.5.8
version of Network Associates PGP for about two decades, so PGP ain't
new to me. However, when I went to the sites having these GNU and
4-somethings junk, I couldn't believe what a MESS these modern day
tekkies have made of PGP. The damn things are so complicated I don't
have a fr'kn clue how to use them. And one of them have a list of
flipp'n e-mail providers you have to use with their abomination. That
one was called Kleopatra - A FK'N JOKE OF TOTAL AND ABSOLUTE
COMPLEXITY!
How in the hell did they change PGP from what it was to the p.o.s. of
BLEEP that they post for downloads these days?
Anyway, this PGP Tool one is the ONLY damn one I found that can be
used by the average user. It's SIMPLE. (Do I need to explain the KISS
Principle again? Keep It Simple, Stupid.)
I have read posters many times complaining they could not understand
how to use PGP. I used to think they were dummies. Now I know that if
it hadn't been for 6.5.8, I, too, would be in their dummy ranks.
If you've ever wanted to use PGP; try the link above. The dang thing
is SIMPLE! Get it...Simple - spelled, S-I-M-P-L-E.
(And I ain't going to argue why PGP is better than those other bleep'n
proggies claiming to be encryption.)
