I feel good that you understood the value of artificially adding a random latency between when you obtain a magnet link and when you use that link. You might also want to consider a killswitch which removes the gateway. That protects you when the VPN drops (which happens, from time to time). LiquidVPN has a canonical killswitch batch file you can google to get.
