Is there some special trick to getting interactive ssh connections running between WiFi clients on a single access point? The AP is a D-Link DI-524 wireless/wired router. Wired connections behave as one might expect, but connections between wireless clients seem to be blocked. It's been suggested this is deliberate, to prevent tampering between wireless clients, under the name Guest Mode. The DI-524 manual makes no mention of Guest Mode, did it go by some other name in the past? The router implements a long list of firewall and VPN options, but it appears they control the WAN/LAN data flow. Is there some special term for WiFi-to-WiFi traffic, and does it get special handling by default? Thanks for reading, bob prohaska
