topics.  Who gives a shit.  He's the same guy who posts that other "odd" 
shit about usenet occasionally.
You go look at the list of groups your provider carries, and either 
scroll through it or use keywords to find things that interest you. 
Subscribe to the ones that might interest you.  Rinse, and repeat.
