I definitely feel like the hardware situation is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand it is just harder to find stuff at a "normal" price, but on the other hand a lot of the consumer slop creators online are beginning to realise that squeezing old hardware is actually cool and you don't have to upgrade everything to be new and shiny every time you see an ad.
