Nym Network: Application-Specific Proxies disabled_credentials_mode = true

N2Usenet, Yamnweb, and NymDrop currently use Nym as an application-specific transport layer.
These services run their Nym clients with:

disabled_credentials_mode = true

In this mode, the gateway currently grants compatibility or test bandwidth without requiring the client to present paid bandwidth credentials. 

As a result, these specific application flows can currently use the Nym mixnet without spending NYM tokens.

However, this should not be mistaken for permanent, unlimited, or contractually guaranteed free access.

Important limitations include:

  - Free bandwidth is not guaranteed by any service agreement.
  - Client logs explicitly identify it as test bandwidth.
  - Nym may restrict, change, or remove this behavior in a future release.
  - It is intended for compatibility and application development, not for operating a free public VPN.
  - It should not be treated as a stable foundation for an unlimited commercial service.

For now, disabled_credentials_mode makes experimental and specialized Nym integrations possible without spending NYM. 

Production systems should nevertheless assume that proper bandwidth credentials may eventually become mandatory and should be designed with a migration path to paid network access.
