An Albertsons Cos. Inc. assistant meat manager sued the supermarket giant alleging his supervisor discriminated against him and other workers who were White and spoke English, according to a new lawsuit filed in federal court in Texas. John Hyman, who is White, alleges that an Albertsons’ meat department manager subjected him to harassment and discriminatory treatment by making comments about preferring Mexican and Spanish-speaking workers, the lawsuit filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas says.
