On October 1, 1971, the Magic Kingdom
welcomed guests from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

During this time, admission into the park was $3.50 (excluding ride
ticket books), and parking was available for just 50 cents. 

The opening of Walt Disney World created a whole new world of themed
family entertainment featuring iconic attractions, beloved characters,
and immersive experiences.
