1. What specific claims from weed advocates make that didn't come to pass?

2. What specific claims of prohibitionists make that ended up happening 
as a result of legalization?

This whole post does not specify whatsoever. Not even one specific issue 
was identified.

In reality, I see that weed advocates and others who were 
pro-legalization realized the benefit that simply using weed shouldn't 
be a crime you get arrested for. Why arrest people for what they do to 
their own bodies?

As a result of legalization, people aren't getting arrested for 
something so stupid that actually harms nobody aside from the person 
choosing to partake...maybe. If there is additional harm besides Matt 
making the claim, any harm hasn't been demonstrated by his post.

And that's important. One of the main claims from "weed advocates" 
turned out to be true, that possessing and using weed is no longer a 
crime. In areas where cannabis is legal, lives are no longer ruined with 
jail time for possession. That's a positive effect the legalization 
advocates identified, and that actually did come to pass.

And that's the only promise I recall legalization advocates raising. So 
what does Matt Walsh mean when he says "none of that (those benefits) 
happened". People no longer becoming registered as criminals is a big deal.
