I started watching Celeste Yarnall stuff. She was Chekov’s love interest in “The Apple”, the Garden of Eden Star Trek episode. I was interested in her work because she made an exceedingly bad vampire movie, but I enjoyed her performance. She had done an overwhelming amount of bad horror movies, and mostly very brief tv appearances where she was killed off early in the show. She appeared with Elvis in 1968 in “Live a Little Love a Little”. The movie was panned, and frankly, the story was strange. I didn’t get to watch all of it, because it was on only one day and not streaming elsewhere. In an interview, Yarnall spoke very favorably and lovingly about working with Elvis. She was unusually complimentary of his kissing. Her next to last appearance before her death was in a mockumentary “Elvis Found Alive”. The movie is really awful and I stopped about an hour in. According to Wikipedia, this movie launched the conspiracy that Elvis was in witness protection. It speculates he put his life in danger as a potential FBI witness against mobsters he worked with in Vegas.
