(KRON) More than 7,500 PG&E customers lost power in the South Bay on Tuesday night, according to PG&Es outage map. The outages are in the area of San Joses Alum Rock neighborhood. They were reported to PG&E at about 7:30 p.m. PG&E is investigating the case of the outage. According to PG&Es website, power is expected to be restored by 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. There was a separate outage in the Bay Area on Tuesday morning when thousands of PG&E customers in San Francisco lost power. An underground cable was the root of this outage, which primarily affected the citys Presidio area. As many as 7,860 customers lost power. This is a developing story.
