OK, the stuff about the Earth Moon system wasn’t true when
I posted the above.

I began a new attempt at 8:37 p.m. NDT (2307 UTC/GMT),
March 30, 37 minutes after sighting the early waxing crescent
for the first time this lunar month. I’ll follow up again when
the Earth Moon system stuff is supposedly correct.
