European Dragonkin Meetups

Good day everyone!

I'm excited to share that we have created a group for organizing 
dragonkin meetups in Europe. To facilitate this, we have created a 
Discord server. We'd love to see more dragons around, so you're hereby 
invited! If you would like to learn more, feel free to send me an e-mail 
or reach out to me using the username bluefire_dragon on Telegram / Discord.

We've already had one meet so far, which took place in Hannover, Germany 
a few months ago. The atmosphere was amazing and it was great to meet my 
fellow 'kin. It felt incredible to share experiences, feelings, 
familiarity, knowledge, interests and, of course, a healthy dose of 
silliness. Not just my own, but everybody's experience was really 
positive. As such, we've now got two more future meets scheduled.

Currently, our physical meetups are mostly organized in the Netherlands 
and Germany. We hope, however, to organize meetups in other places as 
well, especially if we can get other organizers on board. Something we 
are also looking into is organizing online events (with European time 
zones in mind). As such, as a dragon in Europe, we'd still love to have 
you, even if you are not interested (yet) in meeting up physically.

I only awakened a few years ago, at which point things had already 
quieted down here. Nonetheless, it still holds a special place in my 
heart as the very first dragon(kin) community I ever came across. It 
served as a stepping stone, and only because of it did I meet so many 
wonderful people I now hold near and dear to my heart. I'm hoping that 
alt.fan.dragons will continue being that stepping stone for many, and I 
like to think this is one of the ways in which I'm helping.
