thanks for the kind words, glad to hear this. I'm sorry to say that there's 
no way to recompile MacSOUP for modern systems; it would need a complete 
rewrite, which I totally don't have the capacity for. Also, I haven't 
participated in newsgroups myself for quite a while now, so I no longer have 
interest in this myself.
