In the daylight there are no stars as the atmosphere scatters the sunlight. So there are no stars to be seen. But as there is no atmosphere there is no scattering of light, both from transmission and ground reflection, so the stars should have been seen in the photos. This point is hardly original. Light does get reflected to outer space but as there is no scattering of light the situation is as on near space in Earth, with sun on and lotsa stars. bt > Sheeple indeed.
