Fwd: PHP 5.4.23 released

It was brought to my attention that the latest release announcement has
not reached PHP Announce list. Since there are many people that only
subscribe to this list, I am reproducing the release announcement again,
below. Please note it is not a new release but a copy of the release
announcement from December 12th.

Hello!

The PHP development team announces the immediate availability of PHP
5.4.23. About 10 bugs were fixed, including a security issue
(CVE-2013-6420) in OpenSSL module. All users of PHP 5.4 are encouraged
to upgrade to this release.
