The PHP group is pleased to announce the long awaited PHP 4.0 Beta 1. For release information, details and downloads please refer to http://www.php.net/version4/ We would like to remind everyone that this is the first beta version of a nearly complete rewrite of the language and as such is likely to contain bugs.
