config issue

why did the postgresql configuration change? it use to work great using
/usr/local/pgsql/include but now, it looks in /usr/local/include/pgsql ... 

if the change is going to stay - then we need to make some kind of BIG note
and also change the config file so that it doesn't say that the default
pgsql is /usr/local/pgsql (because it isn't).
