I'm going to answer you brother Salah. You have been the head of the translation project ever since as far as I know. You made the initiative and you deserved to be that guy. I think you did an very good job. But the project has failed. I think you must be having a very good answers related to WHY this big project has failed. What I think is that although the first project has failed, it must have taught us good lessons concerning how not to fall down again. Why should anyone else take the responsibility of the project? I'm not against this, I'm just raising the question trying to see why. Are the reasons problem-centered or people-centered ones. Are you busy in your own job?. Of course you are and you should be. I'm busy and other members must be busy, too. That shouldn't be a reason nor should it make us fail. The solution to reviving the project in my humble opinion is to MAKE A GOOD AUTOMATED SYSTEM for the project. There are many challenges to this project like the difficulty of translating or arabizing some terminology, style and wording issues, what to translate in the manual and what not to. There are also some technical matters like how to use the automated system of PHP.NET. But whatever challenges there are, it does not mean we cannot build a system that eventually get the manual translated in Arabic. The biggest challenge is how to build this GOOD AUTOMATED SYSTEM. As soon as such a system has been completed it should continue to be an effective managing tool for the continuous translation process.
