BTW I have looked more deeply into this, and seen that one of the palm formats
are built, but the other is not, due to this isilo386 missing:

lynx -nolist -dump file:`pwd`/php_manual_en.html > php_manual_en.txt
mkdir -p scripts
g++ -o scripts/makedoc /local/mirrors/phpdoc/scripts/makedoc.cc
scripts/makedoc -b php_manual_en.txt php_manual_en.doc.pdb 'PHP Manual'
MakeDoc ver 0.7a
saving to php_manual_en.doc.pdb as <PHP Manual>, binary mode, compressed

>>> running make extra-mirror-files ...
/usr/bin/openjade -D . -wno-idref -c
/local/mirrors/phpdoc/entities/ISO/catalog -c
/local/mirrors/phpdoc/dsssl/docbook/catalog -c
/local/mirrors/phpdoc/dsssl/defaults/catalog -V nochunks -d dsssl/html.dsl -t
sgml /local/mirrors/phpdoc/dtds/dbxml-4.1.2/phpdocxml.dcl php_manual_en.xml >
php_manual_en.html
iSilo386 php_manual_en.html php_manual_en.isilo.pdb
make: iSilo386: Command not found
make: *** [php_manual_en.isilo.pdb] Error 127

So it seems doc.pdb gets built, but isilo.pdb does not. This can also be
checked at http://php.net/get/docs ...
