Hi guys,

To get straight to the point - PHP.net needs a unified sign in system
(SSO), why ? Less headache for everyone, becomes more maintainable,
the project looks more professional to the outside world and a whole
sleeve of things.
How we operate our sub projects at the moments is quite unacceptable
if we want to stand as a unified front (with the current work in
getting a updated and more unified look to all the websites) then we
need to do so on the lower levels as well.

Hannes and I were having some serious discussions earlier tonight
about SSO (and I've discussed it on numeric occasions with Scott as
well this year) and how we want to do things and we'd like to invite
those that are interested in scoping the idea out a bit to join us
tomorrow (1 Nov) on IRC at 3pm UTC.
This will only be the initial discussion phase, so don't except working code.

Be there! :-)
