Any mailing list like this is archived in a million places and trying to
delete all of them is practically impossible. Not only on the Web but this
list is also available over NNTP which means it's archived from Usenet
newsgroups as well, and while NNTP has a cancel message there's no
guarantee the servers holding your posts would even receive it much less
honor it.
