But their soap interface is returning result from a search. A current weak point of PHP is the XML capabilities. Their isn't native soap support, remark on both points: domxml is using libxml2 and native soap is coming, both both are experimental. Because the current soap interface of PHP (in pear) is not native, and because of that slow, i can't believe that they are using it. Because everybody knows that speed is 'the' trademark of Google. (Their no-nonsense approach is also working ..) Theirfor i can't believe that Google is using PHP in their core-business..
