RE: [PHP-EVANGELISM] new comer

I see the point now. 

Well, I must say that I didn't go too far from your points. You might
already know such a site called: PHPBeginner.com. That site was founded
by me, and its main goal is: promoting PHP. I have collected a large
number of the newbies who are willing to learn PHP. The idea behind
PHPBeginner was that the whole bunch of webmasters and programmers of
other languages are having hard times to start with PHP. We provide
these users with a very easy-to-read elementary tutorials as well as
with forums where people aren't shy asking *silly* questions.

As of my languages:
I speak 6 of them.

Natively I speak:

Russian (I was born there)
Ukrainian (my grandparents always spoke to me)
Italian (Immigrated there some dozen of years ago)
English (you to judge)

I also speak on some intermediate level:

Spanish (used to travel around Spain a lot)
Japanese (I lived there for the last 3 years and will be back again in
October)


I have joined the PHP Dev Group to help the translations of the Italian
and Russian versions.

As of PHP-Evangelism. Well, I really like the idea. Although I know C
and Java I always hated using them for the web. Some other apps are
fine, and PHP is something close to my heart by now. I use it for the
last 2-3 years or so. And have never, ever even thought of implementing
anything else while making some website.

My carrier has a past of a 7 years in Web Programming followed by 1 year
of Project Manager for LINC Media, Inc a Tokyo based internet company.
Now, I live in Rome, Italy and work as the IT consultant for the Italian
Government. I am porting the national Real Estate DB into an extranet
website - a project started by some smart people at the Ministry of the
Finance. We use religiously PHP with some elements of Ruby and Oracle at
backend.
