Hi folks,

[please *don't* see this as commercial spam. I only want to
stress the topic "OpenSource & no mandatory support" which
is running around in the heads of IT decisioners and often the
reason why they prefer proprietary products.]

besides the very great support from mailing lists, newsgroups
and tutorials customers often have a problem when hearing the
word "OpenSource". They often think "OpenSource, no good support".

Especially when coming to mission-critical applications, good
and mandatory support is needed. We from ThinkPHP developed two
products, our single incident support services and the on-call
duty support services with guaranteed reaction times (our customers
are national and international). These services are especially
good when coming to enterprise environments and it will mature
PHP's standing in the E-Business.

So, regarding PHP evangelism, collecting companies who provide
mandatory support could be a good idea to list on the evangelism
web site. (I think Zend once offered also PHP support with their
SOS services, but for some reasons I can't find these services
anymore on their web site.)
