PHP for enterprise - articles required

hi all,
i'm searching for some articles which describes suitability of php for
enterprise in-order to start a debate to convince some of my
superiors.

there are good articles, but none of them leads to or starts from a
good foundation on this topic.

if you have surveys, white papers or advocacy stuff on this topic (php
for enterprise or e-commerces), could you please forward any reference
to me.
