This morning, I thought the list was broken (-: Ok, I'm Sean Coates. I write PHP all day. I primarily work on a content management system for a communications/web firm, and also do implementation of said system (IgnitionWeb, won't post the link, but you can find it if you look -- wouldn't want to be moderated for advertising (-; ). I don't remember when I first touched PHP, but I've been writing it professionally for about a year. (Probably 1999. It was PHP3, then). I wrote Colfusion for 2+ years, and Perl before that (for web stuff.. I actually started programming ~12 years ago). I have great faith in the language. I believe it's core strength is an even trade between development speed and power. Perl/C are more powerful, but take longer to develop. Coldfusion develops faster but is very weak. My time can be somewhat limited, but I want to contribute to this project as much as possible. I'm located in Canada (Montreal, Quebec). My first language is English, but I'm also fluent in French (read, written and spoken), do I can do some translating (as mentioned), if required. I'm much better at translating from French to English than vice-versa. That about sums me up. I'm excited about usephp.net (and possibly use.php.net). S
