announcement post?

This is what i've come up with as an announcement post, to give our "raison
d'etre", as it were.

Recently a group of php.net developers set up plans to start a PHP Advocacy
and Evangelism project. The aim of this project is to promote both the use
of PHP to people not used to it, and to promote good use of PHP to new and
existing PHP developers. A side aim to this, also, is to provide support for
the various usergroups out there, as well as other events.

Our initial thoughts lie in the development of 2 new sites for this, as well
as "recruiting" (aka, pleading) with developers to contribute articles,
testimonials, case studies, etc, to help promote our cause. We would
specifically like people skilled in graphic design and content to sign up to
the list to help us out, as well as anyone interested in this project.

One final note about the conduct of the list. It's moderated, by me. PHP
evangelism/advocacy is a subject that arises much argument, so the intention
is that i'll filter out the argument and replace that with healthy debate.
Some of you have disagreements with other developers, and we're keen for
that not to spill over. We'll therefore moderate all posts appropriately.
