It will require a superfluous step to copy-by-hands into a package root directory. I dont like this foolish bit, so
I'd like to add a check where CONFIGURE.COM running from and do steps needed automatically. I like automatic installation procedures like in *nix* ones. User now can run CONFIGURE.COM from a package root directory, or from VMS subdirectory.
And I also do a little improvement for libGD utils supporting without extra installation steps - changes made inside CONFIGURE.COM only.
I attach the new CONFIGURE.COM and README.VMS in a TAR file.

Thank you very much. Please create directory named VMS - it is like a standard. And I've written a readme file regards to this directory name. Then please put CONFIGURE.COM and README.VMS here.
Sorry, if I understand uncorrectly, my gdtest.c patch will be applied to a original source tree, isnt it?

thank you very much for your attention
