THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE, DO NOT REPLY. The following task has a new comment added: FS#227 - 8-bit animated GIFs broken due to VERY old bug User who did this - Thomas Boutell (boutell) ---------- I think that's a reasonable interpretation, sure, although the actual meaning is rather vague - it seems to be an attempt to say "this is what the gamut of the source machine was like," and then there's that weasel sentence at the end saying "even if the source machine can't reproduce some of the colors." Well then, fine it means nothing. (: What we do know is that having "incorrect" values there has never bothered any GIF viewer, ever, because everyone agrees the field is basically useless. What DOES bother viewers is having the leftmost bit accidentally smash the colormap bit. (: So that is well worth fixing promptly. ---------- More information can be found at the following URL: http://bugs.libgd.org/?do=details&task_id=227#comment650 You are receiving this message because you have requested it from the Flyspray bugtracking system.
