There may have been files for an installation there previously as a lot of this server was simply restored files from a backup of a similar machine. However there has not been a 'successful' installation there previously.

Tried the -noquiet otpion at the offending command and it still simply stated there was an undifined symbol in gdImagePng, with more details  about the file.
